Walk slowly.
Breathe deeply.
Be rooted.

Guided nature gatherings to restore calm, clarity, and connection.

Welcome to RootedSouls

Our gatherings leave distractions behind as we harness the healing energy of nature, experiencing a quiet space that our daily lives can sometimes deny us. Slow down, breathe and feel deeply rooted.Enjoy renewal in a sanctuary where the heart unwinds.Come join us.
Whether you'd like to come solo or with a friend, you will find community - and a world waiting to open to you..

RootedSouls offers a, truly, conscious experience and we do so through the following:

* opening and closing grounding activities focused on the present moment
* quiet walking in nature (where your senses come alive..)
* journaling and other creative self-expressions
* lite meditation (supporting restorative breath and connection)
* and others (we'll be keeping it fresh)
Reflect and then reconnect to the you the busyness of life quietsOur goal is not to focus on getting from Point A to Point B - rather reveling in the space that exists between them. We gather in quiet locations within the Triangle of NC that are conducive to free movement, welcoming those of all skill levels and the wish that when you leave, you do so with a heart that is lighter - and a spirit truly alive!

Hello.
My name is Kim Saffran, proud owner of RootedSouls.
A love of nature, teaching and lifelong personal expansion has led to the creation of what I trust will bring those in our community greater connection - both to themselves and to the restorative power of the natural world right outside their doors. Join me as we discover, breathe, smile (both inside and outside) and create an experience to be cherished and accessed whenever we wish.

Gentle answers for your nature journey questions

What can I look forward to at your gatherings?Activities (journaling, meditation, walking and others) are guided. Instructions will be given and, by getting quiet, self exploration and your thoughts and feelings will occur naturally and we encourage you to experience them freely.

I’ve tried meditation but find it hard to quiet my thoughts and sometimes have difficulty slowing down. Can I still participate?Absolutely. Sometimes the simple act of noticing is a great tool for understanding what we are focusing on and why. In doing so, we experience clarity, restorative breathing and a general feeling of calm.

What should I bring with me?Please bring a journal if you have one, a mat or towel you can use outside, closed-toed shoes and an openness to experience your time in nature.

We look forward to meeting you! Kindly fill out the form below and we will, gladly, be in touch.
